ABOUT WESTCOAST SUMMER DIESEL SHOOTOUT

You asked and we listened! The BD WestCoast Summer Shootout is the first of its kind in BC! With 5 Drag Racing classes, 4 Dyno Classes and a Show 'N' Shine. This is the LARGEST competitive event BD Diesel has ever hosted!! Racer participation fee will go towards payout and any surplus will be donated to the BC Children's Hospital. We are expected to have 20+ vendors on site.

$100 per Class, $50 for Sportsman. 5 classes to satisfy everyone's diesel needs! Click on the classes to see the class descriptions. Be sure to pre-register with payment to guarantee your spot! 20% Cash payout or minimum entrance fee based upon truck class count. Minimum of 3 trucks per class.

  • Working taillight required. Flashing, blinking, or strobe lights prohibited
  • Seatbelts required
  • Drive line loop required if running slicks at 13.99 seconds or quicker
  • Helmet Certified to SNELL 2010 or 2015 standards, or certified to SFI Specs 31.1/2010, 31.1/2015, 41.1/2010 or 41.1/2015 required if running 13.99 seconds or quicker
  • Deep Staging Permitted
  • Vehicles 13.49 or quicker require SFI 3.2A/1 jacket
Heads-Up class with 11.90 index
  • 4/10ths Pro Tree
  • Pro ladder by closet to index, without going under
  • Lane choice by closest to 11.90 index, without going under
  • Auto Start on

  • Master electrical cutoff required if battery is moved from non-OEM position. (Cutoff must be located at the rear of the vehicle and outside of the body)
  • Auto Trans reverse lockout and neutral safety required on Auto Trans
  • Working taillight required. Flashing, blinking, or strobe lights prohibited

  • Full Face Helmet (Must have helmet meeting Snell SA2010, SAH2010, K2010, M2010, SA2015, SAH2015, K2015, M2015, or SFI 31.1/2010,41.1/2010, 31.1/2015 or 41.1/2015 specs. required

  • Tube chassis, back halved, 4-link, 3-link style rear suspension permitted (Traction/Ladder Bars allowed)
  • OEM 4-link Suspension allowed (i.e. 2014 and newer Dodge Rams)
  • OE or factory style rear sway bar allowed
  • Hood / Fender Stacks are permitted
  • All Exhaust must exit up and away from vehicle

Participant Event Schedule

All participants must arrive and be parked at Mission Raceway between 7:30am & 8:00am. Wrist bands will be provided upon entrance to the event to allow VIP access for tech, track, dyno and show 'n' shine. Any passengers arriving with participants will need to pay the entrance fee.
